Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2011 Nomacorc Griffith Pro-Am.  Please phone Tournament Chairman, Jenny Thomas on 0427 630 184 to apply. 

 

Volunteers will be required for various positions including scoring, catering, driving range area, and hospitality (RSA required).  Each volunteer will receive lunch on each day worked as well as a tournament shirt.

Parking/Directions

Complimentary parking is available at the Griffith Golf Club at all times. 

The Griffith Golf Club is located on Remembrance Drive.

From the city centre, head east on Banna Ave, at the (McDonald’s) roundabout take the first exit left onto Crossing st.  At the Roundabout take the second exit to continue north onto Macarthur St for 1.2km.  Turn right at Mallinson St.  Turn right at Scenic Dr.  Slight left at Water Tower onto Remembrance Drive.  Turn Right onto Llyod Prest Drive into the Griffith Golf Club entrance.

Spectators may take pictures only on the practice day, Wednesday. Cameras are not allowed during tournament rounds, Thursday-Friday. Mobile phones are not allowed all week. Unauthorised items will be confiscated.

 

Nearest to the Pin & Long Drive Prizes for Amateurs

 

Thanks to Vinocor this year sees nearest to the pin prizes for the amateur players.

Each Par 3 will have a $250 voucher redeemable at the Griffith Golf Club or the

Riverina Golf Academy. If the prize is not claimed during Thursday's rounds

it will JACKPOT to $500 for that hole for Friday's rounds.

 

Also this year thanks to SAGE Automation we have a long drive contest on Thursday

and Friday for both men and women. The prize for each of the long drive contests is

a $125.00 voucher redeemable at the Griffith Golf club or the Riverina Golf Academy.
